Arranging Classic Summer Wedding Flowers

Choosing between the different wedding flower packages can be really difficult, as there are so many beautiful blooms out there - and so many different ways in which they can be styled and arranged.

If you are tying the knot this summer, here are just a few ideas to help you work out what you like and what you don’t. As ever, if you need any further help or advice, give the Blank Space Events team a call today.

Tall centrepieces

Summer flowers like roses, hydrangeas, dahlias, peonies and orchids have been popular choices for weddings for years.

Not only do they look exquisite in bouquets, but they also work well as table centerpieces… and if you’re keen to make a real statement, the taller you go the better!

One key point to bear in mind here, however, is that your guests do need to still be able to see each other around the table, so aim to keep your centrepieces above 24 inches in height to ensure ease of conversation.

Floral arches

You can never have too many flowers at a wedding and if you’re keen to really up the ante, on top of your buttonholes and bouquets, what about saying your vows below a stunning floral archway? Your guests will be talking about it for weeks and months to come… and your wedding photos will be a true sight to behold.

Hanging florals

Flowers aren’t just for the ceremony and the wedding breakfast… you can also use them to incredible effect for the reception, as well. What about suspending them from the ceiling of your marquee alongside your disco balls to help bring the party to life?
